High Quality Professional Development For Educators

As the PDRC for Long Island, Catapult Learning provides high-quality professional development to meet the needs of educators in Religious and Independent Schools on Long Island. At this time, all our sessions are offered online in virtual sessions or in recorded webinars. Educators, who participate in our live virtual sessions, are invited to request Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit hours for verified attendance.



Purposely designed to build a community of leaders who learn and problem-solve together, join the Cohort of the Leadership Circle to discuss, share, and plan for an exceptional school year. Meeting every other Monday, each virtual session will have a driving focus and will be facilitated by Mitch Center of Center Educational Consulting.

Impacting Student Learning with Math Running Records

Join this 2-part series to learn about Math Running Records and their effective implementation to further impact student learning. Together, we will explore what they are, how to administer and analyze them and how to incorporate them into your everyday assessment practices.

Join this 5-part Literacy in Action Series to deepen your educator’s toolbox, accelerate your students’ learning and develop a network of support with colleagues from across the state. This unique opportunity, provided through the Long Island PDRC/Upstate PDRC partnership, will consist of five sessions that build upon each other.

Writing PLC – A Collins Writing Program Cohort

Strengthening Writing and Thinking Skills Across the Curriculum Grs. 3-12. Join this structured PLC to strengthen your students’ learning, cognitive engagement and critical thinking skills using writing. This unique virtual opportunity will consist of 30 mins of strategies and 30 mins of implementation Q&A. Come join for one or for all sessions.

Session meets on the First Monday of the month, 3:30pm-4:30pm

Webinar Series: Strategies for Identifying & Eliminating Systemic Bias While Celebrating Student Diversity & Promoting Equity

Systemic bias and racism exist in many classrooms and schools today. Even if it isn’t immediately recognizable, bias and racism can impact learning, engagement, achievement, and students’ social and emotional well-being. In this webinar series, you’ll learn strategies to help recognize implicit bias and how to create learning environments that celebrate diversity, promote equity, and allow children to be themselves within a culturally responsive classroom.
